The concept for my Australian studio residence is the Sydney opera house. Located on an urban waterfront, the architecture of this building is said to have been constructed from the single surface of a sphere. The iconic concert hall is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Inspired by the opera house's pure, curving shapes and undulating reflective surfaces, my concept will be achieved through the elements of line, texture and form and will further express the concept through the principles of pattern, dominance and movement.
