As a student at Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, FL, I wanted to document my growth as an artist and designer in a visual timeline, so I brought it to Blogger. Enjoy!

Lighting Design
Some of the past winners are pretty cool, and a lot of them come from Ringling, so I am pretty excited to find out who takes home this years prize!
The design problem was to design a porch light to illuminate the front door of a single family residence. Here is my solution: (Click to enlarge)

Spring, Junior Year.
The concept for ReThink’s new office space is the earth element of wind and the effects of erosion. Located in the windy city of Chicago Illinois, the corporate office of this reengineering firm will be spacious, sleek and modern. Just as the company seeks to redesign products and incorporate green and sustainable design, some of the materials selected for this project will be reclaimed, recycled and sustainable. The elements of texture and form alongside the principles of repetition and movement will help define the interior architecture and material selection for this project.

Welcome to Para Gaia
This entire project has been quite the journey! So here is a full semesters worth of hard work and dedication. Although I lost my touch for a few weeks there, I got my swing back, and I am happier than ever to be posting this entry right now!

Update...

I am actually excited to be posting this, It has been awesome to see this go from 2D to 3D, and making it look as great as it does.

More stills to come soon, or as soon as I figure something else out. I am in a bit of a rut, and want to change so much. It's taking a lot of will power to keep from doing so.

Finally got this project under way!

This is the view into my retail store from the front window. I am really liking this so far, but as I have not added lighting, or real furniture (hence the odd gray box of a lounge chair) everything has an overall green color.
Anyways, I am really excited to really start getting things finished, and knock this one out of the park! I missed 3DSmax. :)
