As a student at Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, FL, I wanted to document my growth as an artist and designer in a visual timeline, so I brought it to Blogger. Enjoy!

Accesscorize
I need to design a couch before i go any further.
That is my goal tonight, but for now, here is what I have.
Lighting to come this weekend, for sure, as the project is due in 8 days.

A whole days worth of work.
I probably shouldn't have started applying materials just yet, but oh well.
I just wanted to give you a taste of what the final will look like.

In Progress..
Here's just an idea as to how a Digital Rendering project starts. Walls. 3D or not, its the basic canvas for any project. I started my day off on quite the productive foot, so ill try and keep it up from here on out. I have a few meetings, my speech for Student Government elections, and presentations this afternoon, but I have some good music to keep me company!
Take care!

Down Under.
The concept for my Australian studio residence is the Sydney opera house. Located on an urban waterfront, the architecture of this building is said to have been constructed from the single surface of a sphere. The iconic concert hall is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Inspired by the opera house's pure, curving shapes and undulating reflective surfaces, my concept will be achieved through the elements of line, texture and form and will further express the concept through the principles of pattern, dominance and movement.

Oh, and did i mention. . .
Here's a little background info about my new client for my next Interior Design II project:
As the CEO of the British-based music publisher RPM, that represents the work of such unique music talents as My Morning Jacket, Feist, Iron & Wine, Modest Mouse, Adele and Radiohead—Sarena Paxon intimately understands the convergence of creativity and commerce at the core of the business she shepherds. "Ours is a rarefied business," Paxon says. "If you think of great music—what is it? It's a wonderfully written song that's brilliantly performed, but it's also valuable intellectual property."
My mission as the designer:
Paxon has requested a workspace that presents the feeling of a
sophisticated lounge or club. Instead of incorporating bold color or offbeat design devices, - infuse character and interest with a carefully developed palette of materials that add warmth, texture, and richness to the space. She wants you to work with the exposed brick walls, vaulted ceilings, and castiron columns of the original structure.
To support the various facets of RPM’s business, Paxon wants you to develop a floor plan that would divide the employees into distinct groups with logical adjacencies. "Treat the space as an urban landscape, and define neighborhoods for each group and their different needs, such as the creative group, which blasts music all day long, versus the copyright and royalty department, which spend their time poring through legal documents."
Looks to me like ill be listening to some GREAT music over the next 3 weeks!

I swear to you, it's never over
The second one project ends, another begins! My Digital Rendering studio class final project is 900 sq.ft. personal living and studio space, where I become my own client. It can be located anywhere in the world, and of course with my current obsession with the land down under, this little beauty is my inspiration for this next project :)
This project... is one i dont believe i will get sick of!
